Sinossi / Synopsis
Tom, un comico fiammingo abituato a fare le voci dei personaggi nei cartoni animati, si trova all’improvviso a dover sostituire un collega doppiatore. Si trova così nello studio di un film porno francese. Catherine, un’attrice esperta, sarà la sua partner. Tom farà la parte dell’idraulico.

Tom, a Flemish comedian used to doing cartoon character’s voices, replaces offhand a doubler friend. He finds himself in the studio of a pornographic french speaking film. Catherine, an experienced actress, will be his partner. Tom will play the plumbe.

XAVIER SERON
Biografia / Biography:
Dopo gli studi in legge entra allo IAD (Belgio) nel 2001. Nel 2005, “Rien d’Insoluble”, il suo film di fine corso, viene selezioanto in numerosi festival in tutto il mondo tra i quali la Mostra del Cinema di Venezia. Nel 2007 dirige insieme a  Christophe Hermans un cortometraggio intitolato “The Crab”. Il film viene selezionato in molti festival, in particolare all’International Short Film Festival di Angers. Nel 2008 collabora alla scrittura del documentario “The Parents” di Christophe Hermans e scrive “Together with the dust”, cortometraggio di Jacques Molitor (selezionato al festival di Locarno). Nel 2013 dirige “Dreamcatchers con  Cédric Bourgeois”, un documentario sui wrestler belga. Oggi Xavier ha appena terminato di girare un nuovo cortometraggio con Méryl Fortunat-Rossi intitolato “The Black Bear” così come il suo primo lungometraggio “Je me tue à le dire”. Dal 2012 supervisiona i progetti di fine corso dello IAD.

After law studies, Xavier Seron enters IAD (Belgium) in 2001. In 2005, Rien d’Insoluble, his end of studies movie, is selected in numerous festivals worldwide among which the Venice Mostra. In 2007, he directs with Christophe Hermans a short film of fiction entitled The Crab. The movie is selected in many festivals, in particular at the international short film festival of Angers. In 2008, he collaborates at the writing of the long-length documentary The Parents of Christophe Hermans and cowrites Together with the dust, Jacques Molitor’s short film (selected to the festival of Locarno).  In 2013, he directs Dreamcatchers with Cédric Bourgeois , a full-length documentary about Belgian wrestlers. Today, Xavier has just finished the shooting of a new short film with Méryl Fortunat-Rossi entitled The Black Bear as well as his first feature film of fiction: “Je me tue à le dire”. Since 2012, he supervises end of studies movies at IAD..

MERYL FORTUNAT ROSSI
Biografia / Biography:
Regista francese nato ad Arles il 24 aprile 1979. Scopre la fotografia nel periodo delle scuole superiori per poi dedicarsi, successivamente, al cinema. Tra il 1998 e il 2000 co-dirige tre cortometraggi amatoriali. Dal 2001 al 2005 studia regia in Belgio allo IAD (Arts of Broadcasting Institute). Oggi vive a Bruxelles dove divide il suo tempo fra la televisione (RTBF) e i suoi progetti. Il suo ultimo film “Moonshine” ha già ricevuto 9 premi in tutto il mondo ed è stato nominato al Magritte come miglior cortometraggio. Per quanto riguarda i documentari, “Aparición” è stato selezionato ai festival di Aix-en-Provence, Amiens, Split e Bruxelles. Nel 2014 ha co-diretto “The black bear” con Xavier Seron.

French director born in Arles on April 24th, 1979. He discovers photography in high school before turning to the cinema. Between 1998 and 2000, he co-directs three amateur short films.
From 2001 till 2005, he studies direction in Belgium at the Arts of Broadcasting Institute (IAD). He lives today in Brussels where he shares his time between television ( RTBF) and his own creations.
His last fiction “Moonshine” has already received 9 prizes worldwide and was nominated at the Magritte(Belgian Césars) for the best short film. Concerning documentary, Aparicion has been selected to the festivals of Aix-en-Provence, Amiens, Split and Brussels. In 2014, he co-directs “ The black bear “ with Xavier Seron.
