Anni ’60. Antonio, diciassette anni, è costretto a passare un’estate in Basilicata dagli zii, in attesa che sua madre esca da una clinica psichiatra. Il suo unico desiderio è tornare da lei. Ma zio Carismo, il capofamiglia, glielo impedisce. Un’occasione gliela offrirà don Pasquale, il prete del paese, ma ogni cosa ha il suo prezzo.

‘60s. Anthony is seventeen years old, he is forced to spend a summer in Basilicata from his uncles, waiting for his mother goes out of a clinic psychiatrist.
