L’immagine di questa edizione è un remake della famosa “Gioconda” raffigurata mescolando suggestioni cinematografiche e pittoriche surrealiste. Il fiore che le copre il volto sottrae alla Monna Lisa il suo iconico sorriso, privandola dell’elemento più distintivo. La vegetazione che la circonda ci invita a riscoprire il valore della “vita contemplativa” come antidoto alla moderna “società della stanchezza”, tema dell’edizione 2024 del LFF decantati dal filosofo Byung-Chul Han.

The image for this edition is a remake of the famous “Mona Lisa,” depicted by blending cinematic and surrealist pictorial suggestions. The flower covering her face removes the Mona Lisa’s iconic smile, depriving her of her most distinctive feature. The vegetation surrounding the figure invites us to rediscover the value of the “contemplative life” as an antidote to the modern “society of fatigue,” themes of the 2024 LFF edition as expounded by philosopher Byung-Chul Han.
