Sinossi / Synopsis
Nella miniera d’oro di Perma in Benin. Alcuni sognano di trovare l’oro, altri hanno capito che non c’è nulla da trovare. Alcuni scavano senza sosta nella speranza di diventare ricchi, altri sono morti nel farlo. E altri ancora dicono che in questo posto non muore nessuno.

In the Perma gold mine in Benin. Some dream of finding gold, others have realized that there is nothing to be found. Some dig relentlessly in the hope of become rich, others have died in the process. And others still say that in this place, nobody dies.

Biografia / Biography:
Ha girato il suo primo corto di fiction “ Drôle de Guerre”  nel 2012, il suo primo film documentario in Africa: “Tontines, une affaire de femmes” (52 minuti) e nel 2014 il suo secondo documentario “Waiting for the (t)rain” (26 minuti). Questo film riceve 132 candidature ufficiali in tutto il mondo e 31 premi.  Nel 2014, riceve un premio per il miglior giovane regista talentuoso dell’anno dalla prestigiosa organizzazione ARP.

He made his first fiction short film « Drôle de Guerre » at 2012, he shot his first documentary film in Africa : Tontines, une affaire de femmes (52min) and 2014 his second documentary « Waiting for the (t)rain » (26min). This film get 132 Official Selections all over the world, 31 Awards. 2014, he received a prize of best talented young director of the year from the prestigious organization ARP.
